HashIt C++ (Source Code)

So here is a little app I’ve been calling HashIt it’s a simple rehash / resigner for Windows, Linux and Mac and I’ve included the source as well.

This all kind of came into play as decided I wanted to learn more about STFS and what better way to make a quick and clean rehash /resigner its written in C++ and should work on all platforms.

This does not come with any official support but I’d be happy to try and answer any question you may have.

Also here is now a binary for Intel Mac

hey im having a slight problem. I need to kno how to open an extracted gamesave into the program FalloutNV VE 3.0. every time i try, theres a pop up that tells me the following:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Index was outside the bounds of the array.

and then it gives you the following options: Details, Continue, or Quit

Please reply as soon as possible! this isn’t even a post regarding FalloutNV VE… wtf?

    Hi,

your Hashit Mac app version doesn’t run on Mac OSX. The icon appears with a big cross on it and if you double-click the application anyway, a dialog box comes up saying you can’t run the app.

It’s not my machine as I have an intel iMac dual core running the latest OS (Snow Tiger – 10.6.7).

    Just thought you should know.

    regards,

Yes it does work on OS X but the compile I did will only run on Intel based macs, if you want it to run on a PPC mac you have to compile it yourself as I don’t have access to a PPC mac.

Re-read the line in my original post:
—> it’s not my machine as I HAVE AN INTEL IMAC

Don’t know why you claim I asked for a PowerPC version: I didn’t and I don’t own one.

Have you even tried running your compiled Mac app on someone else’s machine? I doubt it as you didn’t even seem to be able to actually READ my last message.

Idk if its me, but the program isnt working for me. Then when i just edit my xp/level/ special it doesnt not work at all. Any suggestions?

  19. Don says:

I have all DLC’s and when I try and mod using this save, which has always been reliable, after downloading the ‘Lonesome Road’ DLC the character just falls over in the game. I have tried this on many saves looked at all my fatigue levels to see if that is what effects it but it is not and was wodering if you will be making a new versio of the tool soon or if you can provide any advice for the porblem.

    Thank you for your help.

  20. Skylar says:

Hey, I can’t get the newest version of the new vegas editor to jack my carry weight up or change my special skills individually.. why?

It shows no change even though I put 500 for weight and 70 for 3 skills

Other than that it’s flawless, just resign & rehash when done

thanks for keeping this alive even without the forum
